Twitter

Personally I'm not a big twitter fan. Social networks like these are overwhelming and I don't really have the time to sift through loads.

I looked at some of the branch library's twitter feeds. The library twitters posted lots of activities and programs that are happening at the library and I think this could be useful for receiving the updates and upcoming events.

I took the tour. I was surprise you can use Library Thing in many different languages. I am not really sure if I would be using it now but I will visit this site again. It is good to see review other people about book you read or you are going to read.

CPL 2.0 Online Productivity Tools

Thanks for all this info. It is interesting but too much for me.

I didn't know about Online Productivity Tools before this assignment. I start use Google Docs & Calendar and find it helpful, it is really woderful you can access from any computer.

CPL 2.0 Flickr & YouTube

I am familiar with YouTube, and I like this media site. I explored Flickr, it is user-friendly site, usful for shering pictures. I already use Picasa Web, I think that Flickr and Picasa kind of similar by options.

RSS CPL 2.0

I set up a RSS feed (sighed up for Bloglines Account). I added "About Cats" to my feeds.

CPL 2.0 Google assignment

I like use Google Maps, Google Earth, Picasa, You Tube. I already recomended to my friends Picasa because it is very easy share photos. But I never explore Google by click on "more" or "even more", now I know - thank you.

CPL 2.0 Facebook assignment

Social networking is very popular especially between teens and young people because there is not enough live social interaction, communication - this is my opinion.

Facebook is useful but could be addictive.
